ECIDA Honors Local Industries at Annual Reception Held at New Aertssen Logistics Facility

RINCON, Ga. - The Effingham County Industrial Development Authority (ECIDA) hosted its annual industry reception on Dec. 5, honoring the new arrivals and long-standing businesses that contribute to the county’s economic vitality. The event, held at the newly constructed Aertssen Logistics facility in Rincon, brought together representatives from 19 industries employing nearly 3,400 people in the region.

The reception celebrated the vital contributions of existing industries to the community, showcasing their role in driving economic growth, providing high-quality jobs, and fostering a thriving local economy. The ECIDA also expressed its gratitude to Aertssen Logistics for their significant investment in Effingham County and for hosting the event at their impressive new facility, underscoring their commitment to becoming an integral part of the community.

Attendees had the opportunity to network with other industry leaders, learn about the latest developments in the local business landscape, and celebrate shared achievements. The Aertssen Logistics facility, a state-of-the-art venue, served as a fitting backdrop to showcase the county’s commitment to fostering a competitive and forward-thinking industrial sector.
